What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Some are essential; others are used for advertising or measurement and need your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.
Cookies we use
- Consent record (necessary). Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. No consent is needed for this.
- Advertising (Google AdSense, only with your consent where required). Used by Google and its advertising partners to show and measure ads, limit repeats and, if you agree, personalise them.
Managing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to review, change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
More about Google’s use of data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Theme preference
If you use the light/dark button in the header, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device so it is remembered on your next visit. It is not a cookie, is never sent to us, and you can reset it by choosing “system” on the button or clearing site data.
